 We arrived in Liege and stayed the night in a nice hotel. Next morning we drove down to Verviers, Eupen and on to Malmedy. From Malmedy we went on to St.Vith, Gouvy and Houffalize. It was then a short drive on to Bastogne. We then went via St Hubert and Rochefort to Ciergnon which was the last town within the "Bulge" and out to the actual extremity just before Dinant. We covered most of the battle, following in the tank tracks of the SS and Lehr Panzers. |
